Working in Lindale -salaries realistic?

Hey, I'm single, late 40s, and Crime rate is something to consider -Lindale sits at 403.7 per 100K. Average temperature is around 67--F, so the weather is moderate. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. Any help is appreciated.

My experience has been mostly positive. I wouldn't want to live anywhere else right now. The only thing I'd watch out for is food scene. Other than that, No regrets on my end..
