Cost of living reality check -Linden

Random thought, I relocated for work and Crime rate is something to consider -Linden sits at 373.3 per 100K. Median household income is $91,036, which feels pretty solid for the area. With a population of 43,614, Linden is a smaller city. Homes are going for about $387,200 on average. Poverty rate is 7.0%, which is pretty low. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. The weather takes some getting used to.

Pros:
- Low taxes
- Active local events
- Good airport connections

Cons:
- Hot summers
- Limited nightlife
- Sprawl everywhere
- High property taxes
- Few job opportunities in some fields
What are your go-to spots? The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. Not gonna lie, the first year was rough. But once you find your neighborhood and your people, I have mixed feelings honestly. It's not for everyone but it works for us..
