First post here. I work in education and With a population of 27,106, Lindenhurst is a smaller city. It's a a smaller city city with about 27,106 people. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. What do you all think? The suburbs are where most families end up. Property taxes are high but you get good services. Property taxes are high but you get good services. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. The food scene here is surprisingly good. Gonna give a different perspective here since most replies seem pretty good.

I've been here 3 years and I love the pace of life here. The thing nobody mentions is safety. It's stable and it affects daily life more than you'd think.

That said, the dating scene is legit. And if you're into fishing, this place is improving.

Neighborhood matters A LOT here. The Pine Hills side vs the Oak Park side are basically different cities. Make sure you visit both before deciding.

Give it a chance - it might surprise you..
