Thinking about relocating to Lindenhurst from Tucson

OK so My family moved here when I was a kid. With a population of 27,106, Lindenhurst is a smaller city. Rent is about $2,099/month for a decent place. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. The suburbs are where most families end up. Am I wrong here? I'd say it's better for families than young singles. The city has invested a lot in new development. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. The suburbs are where most families end up. The weather takes some getting used to. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that.

Not gonna lie, the first year was rough. But once you find your neighborhood and your people, it's improved dramatically in recent years. Your mileage may vary depending on what you're looking for..
