Is Lindon a good place to live?

Hey, I'm a remote worker and Average temperature is around 54--F, so expect cold winters. The suburbs are where most families end up. The weather takes some getting used to. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood.

As someone who grew up here, it's exactly what I was looking for. A lot has changed in the past few years though. school system used to be much reasonable but now it's better than expected.

OK so I've been meaning to write this for a while. I moved here 7 years ago from Boston and here's my honest breakdown:

Housing: Lots of new construction which should help. We're paying /mo for a 3-bed in Uptown. It's solid for what you get.

Jobs: The market is manageable right now, especially in construction. If you're in finance you might struggle.

People: Generally better than expected. It took about 18 months to build a solid friend group.

Food: underrated. Tons of options if you like Mediterranean.

Give it a chance - it might surprise you..
