First post here. Average temperature is around 54--F, so expect cold winters. Crime rate is something to consider -Lindon sits at 74.5 per 100K. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. Does this match your experience? Thanks in advance! The weather takes some getting used to. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus.

Gonna give a different perspective here since most replies seem pretty good.
I've been here 1 years and I genuinely enjoy living here. The thing nobody mentions is school system. It's stable and it affects daily life more than you'd think.
That said, the food scene is legit. And if you're into photography, this place is better than expected.
Neighborhood matters A LOT here. The Fairview side vs the Cedar Grove side are basically different cities. Make sure you visit both before deciding.

I've lived in Greenfield for about 7 years now, so I can give you a pretty detailed perspective.
I love the pace of life here. When I first moved here from Nashville, I was surprised by safety. It took some adjustment but now I wouldn't trade it.
A few things worth knowing:
- Low crime in most neighborhoods
- Good healthcare facilities
- The housing market scene is average
The downsides:
- Nightlife is limited
- Not very walkable outside downtown
Overall I'd rate it 9/10 for singles. Happy to answer more specific questions..

Great question. I'll try to be comprehensive here.
I'm a project manager who relocated here from Nashville about 11 years ago. The main reasons were a fresh start and family.
Pros I've experienced:
- Lots of new development happening
- Close to major attractions
- Good airport with direct flights
Cons that are real:
- Nightlife is limited
- Urban sprawl is real
Financially, we've found it average compared to where we came from. Older homes are where the value is. Groceries are developing, gas is surprisingly good.
Socially, it's improved dramatically in recent years. It's not for everyone but it works for us..
