First post here. Poverty rate is 26.6%, which is higher than I expected. Average temperature is around 63--F, so the weather is moderate. The unemployment rate is 9.1%, which is concerning. Homes are going for about $268,400 on average. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. What would you do? The suburbs are where most families end up. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years.

Renting here right now, paying about /mo for a 1-bedroom. there are trade-offs but the good outweighs the bad. Compared to Pittsburgh it's improving.

As someone who grew up here, I have mixed feelings honestly. A lot has changed in the past few years though. weather used to be much pricey but now it's pretty good.

I've been living here for 2 years and I'd say it exceeded my expectations. The cost of living is challenging compared to other places I've lived. Overall It's not for everyone but it works for us..
