First post here. My family moved here when I was a kid. The median home value here is around $268,400, which seems about average. The unemployment rate is 9.1%, which is concerning. Poverty rate is 26.6%, which is higher than I expected. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. I'd say it's better for families than young singles.
