Raising a family in Linton Hall -thoughts?

OK so I'm a teacher here and Rent is about $2,613/month for a decent place. With a population of 42,077, Linton Hall is a smaller city. Average temperature is around 55--F, so expect cold winters. The unemployment rate is 2.5%, which is pretty low. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. Am I wrong here? Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse.
