Internet providers in Lipscomb?

Hello, I grew up here but left for a while. Rent is about $841/month for a decent place. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. Does this match your experience?

From a safety perspective, it really depends on the area. Some neighborhoods are improving, others not so much. Do your research on specific streets.

Weather-wise, the summers are decent and winters are reasonable. You get used to it after the first year.

If you're remote, this place is great for cost of living. it's not perfect but it works for me. Internet is surprisingly good in most areas.

OK so I've been meaning to write this for a while. I moved here 3 years ago from Phoenix and here's my honest breakdown:

Housing: Lots of new construction which should help. We're paying /mo for a 4-bed in Midtown. It's average for what you get.

Jobs: The market is reasonable right now, especially in hospitality. If you're in retail you might struggle.

People: Generally decent. It took about 5 months to build a solid friend group.

Food: tough. Tons of options if you like BBQ.

Definitely worth checking out..

OK I'm going to write a proper review because I've seen too many incomplete answers.

Background: I'm a writer, 34, moved here 9 years ago from Denver. I've lived in East and Uptown, and traveled to most parts of the metro.

**What I love:**
1. Good schools in most areas
2. Good airport with direct flights
3. Lots of family-friendly activities
4. The people are generally pretty good - I found my community within the first year

**What I don't love:**
1. Nightlife is limited
2. Far from beaches/mountains
3. The housing market situation is stable and doesn't seem to be improving

**Neighborhoods I'd recommend:**
- East: Great for singles. tough vibes, walkable.
- Uptown: More affordable, family-friendly.

**Neighborhoods I'd avoid:**
- Without naming names, stay away from areas east of downtown until you know the city better.

**Cost comparison:**
Coming from Denver, everything felt excellent. Rent is about /mo. Groceries are established. Gas is manageable. You can live comfortably on $80K-$130K here.

**Final verdict:**
Good luck with whatever you decide.. It's not perfect - nowhere is - but for the price point and quality of life, it's hard to beat. DM me if you have specific questions.
