OK so Household incomes average around $54,982 in Lithia Springs. Crime rate is something to consider -Lithia Springs sits at 579.2 per 100K. You can expect to pay around $1,353 for rent here. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. Am I overthinking this? It's not perfect, but the community is solid. The weather takes some getting used to. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. The food scene here is surprisingly good. Not gonna lie, the first year was rough. But once you find your neighborhood and your people, I genuinely enjoy living here. Happy to answer more specific questions..

The food scene here is decent. Tons of great Asian places. I love the pace of life here.

Public transit is decent here. You'll probably need a car for most things. there are trade-offs but the good outweighs the bad.

I've lived in North for about 12 years now, so I can give you a pretty detailed perspective.
it's improved dramatically in recent years. When I first moved here from Phoenix, I was surprised by community vibe. It took some adjustment but now I wouldn't trade it.
A few things worth knowing:
- Good healthcare facilities
- Good internet infrastructure
- The weather scene is solid
The downsides:
- Not very walkable outside downtown
- Far from beaches/mountains
Overall I'd rate it 8/10 for couples. Would recommend to anyone considering it..

Great question. I'll try to be comprehensive here.
I'm a software engineer who relocated here from Baltimore about 13 years ago. The main reasons were retirement and my partner's job.
Pros I've experienced:
- Nice parks and green spaces
- Lots of new development happening
- Good airport with direct flights
Cons that are real:
- Limited public transit options
- Dating scene is rough
Financially, we've found it better than expected compared to where we came from. The market is competitive but not impossible. Groceries are manageable, gas is average.
Socially, the quality of life is solid. Definitely worth checking out..
