Biggest downsides of living in Lithonia?

Been meaning to ask this. Crime rate is something to consider -Lithonia sits at 3,154.7 per 100K. The median home value here is around $171,500, which is actually reasonable. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. Is this normal for Lithonia? There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods.

Came here for my partner's job and stayed because it's improved dramatically in recent years. The job market is honestly tough and I don't see that changing anytime soon.
