Been meaning to ask this. My family moved here when I was a kid. Homes are going for about $223,400 on average. Poverty rate is 2.8%, which is pretty low. The unemployment rate is 1.3%, which is pretty low. Rent is about $1,141/month for a decent place. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. Does this match your experience? Looking forward to hearing from you all. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. The suburbs are where most families end up.
