Been meaning to ask this. With a population of 51,426, Little Elm is a smaller city. It's a a smaller city city with about 51,426 people. Average temperature is around 65--F, so the weather is moderate. Median household income is $116,036, which feels pretty solid for the area. The suburbs are where most families end up. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. The food scene here is surprisingly good. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that.

I've been living here for 15 years and I'd say I love the pace of life here. The safety is hit or miss compared to other places I've lived. Overall Would recommend to anyone considering it..

Depends on what you're looking for honestly. If you want public transit, then yeah this place is great. But if cultural scene matters to you, might want to look elsewhere.

I've lived in Maple Ridge for about 5 years now, so I can give you a pretty detailed perspective.
it's not perfect but it works for me. When I first moved here from Nashville, I was surprised by healthcare. It took some adjustment but now I wouldn't trade it.
A few things worth knowing:
- Friendly community, easy to meet people
- Good schools in most areas
- The walkability scene is challenging
The downsides:
- Not a lot of cultural diversity
- Bugs and humidity in summer
Overall I'd rate it 7/10 for remote workers. Good luck with whatever you decide..
