I'm a nurse at the local hospital and You can expect to pay around $1,900 for rent here. It's a a smaller city city with about 51,426 people. Crime rate is something to consider -Little Elm sits at 118.5 per 100K. Rent is about $1,900/month for a decent place. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. Is this normal for Little Elm? Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. Property taxes are high but you get good services. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. The food scene here is surprisingly good.
