Things Little Rock needs to improve

Rent is about $1,067/month for a decent place. Median household income is $60,583, which feels about average for the area. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. What would you do? The food scene here is surprisingly good. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level.

I've lived in Eastside for about 2 years now, so I can give you a pretty detailed perspective.

it's not perfect but it works for me. When I first moved here from Miami, I was surprised by public transit. It took some adjustment but now I wouldn't trade it.

A few things worth knowing:
- Great outdoor activities nearby
- Lots of new development happening
- The public transit scene is better than expected

The downsides:
- Homeless population growing downtown
- Bugs and humidity in summer

Overall I'd rate it 7/10 for remote workers. Give it a chance - it might surprise you..
