Longtime lurker here, Homes are going for about $317,900 on average. What would you do? There's a growing tech scene which is exciting.

Gonna give a different perspective here since most replies seem excellent.
I've been here 8 years and it's been a really good experience overall. The thing nobody mentions is nightlife. It's established and it affects daily life more than you'd think.
That said, the pet-friendliness is legit. And if you're into mountain biking, this place is solid.
Neighborhood matters A LOT here. The Uptown side vs the Highland side are basically different cities. Make sure you visit both before deciding.
No regrets on my end..
