What to expect moving to Live Oak?

I'm retired and The median home value here is around $227,800, which is actually reasonable. Poverty rate is 4.6%, which is pretty low. Rent is about $1,450/month for a decent place. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. The suburbs are where most families end up. Anyone in a similar situation? It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. The suburbs are where most families end up. The suburbs are where most families end up. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting.
