Livonia is underrated, change my mind

Hey everyone, We're a young couple and With a population of 94,058, Livonia is a smaller city. Average temperature is around 51--F, so expect cold winters. The unemployment rate is 2.9%, which is pretty low. Poverty rate is 2.4%, which is pretty low. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. Am I overthinking this? Night life is decent if you know the right spots. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. Gonna give a different perspective here since most replies seem tough.

I've been here 11 years and I have mixed feelings honestly. The thing nobody mentions is nightlife. It's pricey and it affects daily life more than you'd think.

That said, the public transit is legit. And if you're into running, this place is underrated.

Neighborhood matters A LOT here. The Springfield side vs the Midtown side are basically different cities. Make sure you visit both before deciding.

Hope this helps!.
