Best neighborhoods to rent in Lockport?

Longtime lurker here, It's a a small town city with about 20,699 people. Poverty rate is 13.5%, which is around average. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. Would love some local perspective. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly.

Public transit is tough here. You'll probably need a car for most things. it exceeded my expectations.

If you're remote, this place is great for cost of living. there are trade-offs but the good outweighs the bad. Internet is improving in most areas.
