Best neighborhoods to rent in Lodi?

Longtime lurker here, We have two kids and Crime rate is something to consider -Lodi sits at 350.5 per 100K. The unemployment rate is 5.7%, which is about average. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. Am I overthinking this?

Public transit is tough here. You'll probably need a car for most things. I wouldn't want to live anywhere else right now.
