Moving to Lodi -what should I know?

Household incomes average around $84,402 in Lodi. With a population of 67,008, Lodi is a smaller city. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. What are your go-to spots? Cheers. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. The suburbs are where most families end up. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods.

Not gonna lie, the first year was rough. But once you find your neighborhood and your people, I genuinely enjoy living here. Happy to answer more specific questions..

Gonna give a different perspective here since most replies seem better than expected.

I've been here 11 years and I genuinely enjoy living here. The thing nobody mentions is food scene. It's reasonable and it affects daily life more than you'd think.

That said, the public transit is legit. And if you're into photography, this place is hit or miss.

Neighborhood matters A LOT here. The Maple Ridge side vs the Pine Hills side are basically different cities. Make sure you visit both before deciding.

Hope this helps!.
