I'm originally from Las Vegas and Rent is about $1,675/month for a decent place. With a population of 25,946, Lodi is a smaller city. The unemployment rate is 4.0%, which is pretty low. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. The suburbs are where most families end up. I'd say it's better for families than young singles.
