Bought a house here in 2023 and it was the best decision I ever made. Property values have gone up significantly since then.

I've lived in The Heights for about 1 years now, so I can give you a pretty detailed perspective.
I wouldn't want to live anywhere else right now. When I first moved here from Dallas, I was surprised by food scene. It took some adjustment but now I wouldn't trade it.
A few things worth knowing:
- Nice parks and green spaces
- Good airport with direct flights
- The public transit scene is average
The downsides:
- Summers can be brutally hot
- Road conditions need improvement
Overall I'd rate it 5/10 for couples. Feel free to reach out with questions..

Moved here from Seattle about 13 years ago. there are trade-offs but the good outweighs the bad. Still getting used to dating scene but Definitely worth checking out..

Renting here right now, paying about /mo for a 1-bedroom. it was the best decision I ever made. Compared to San Francisco it's average.
