Best restaurants in Logan?

First post here. Crime rate is something to consider -Logan sits at 217.2 per 100K. Is this normal for Logan? Any help is appreciated.

Depends on what you're looking for honestly. If you want cost of living, then yeah this place is great. But if dating scene matters to you, might want to look elsewhere.

Public transit is solid here. You'll probably need a car for most things. it's not perfect but it works for me.

OK so I've been meaning to write this for a while. I moved here 5 years ago from Salt Lake City and here's my honest breakdown:

Housing: Buying is tough right now, renting is more reasonable. We're paying /mo for a 2-bed in Oak Park. It's challenging for what you get.

Jobs: The market is affordable right now, especially in tech. If you're in finance you might struggle.

People: Generally solid. It took about 14 months to build a solid friend group.

Food: better than expected. Tons of options if you like Mediterranean.

Would recommend to anyone considering it..

Real talk - this place is not for everyone, and I think that's OK.

If you value housing market, you'll love it. The school system is genuinely surprisingly good and I've found it exceeded my expectations. My neighborhood (Oak Park) is pricey and I feel safe walking around at night.

But if you're coming from Atlanta, be prepared for the culture shock. community vibe is completely different here. And Not very walkable outside downtown.

My advice would be to visit for at least a week before committing. Rent first, don't buy. And explore multiple neighborhoods - they're all different.
