So, I'm originally from Kansas City and Average temperature is around 61--F, so the weather is moderate. Poverty rate is 5.3%, which is pretty low. Household incomes average around $77,011 in Loganville. You can expect to pay around $1,480 for rent here. The suburbs are where most families end up. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. Any advice would be great. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. The food scene here is surprisingly good. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods.

We moved here with our family and it's not perfect but it works for me. Schools in Midtown area are solid. Kids love it here.

Great question. I'll try to be comprehensive here.
I'm a project manager who relocated here from Miami about 14 years ago. The main reasons were work and a job opportunity.
Pros I've experienced:
- Great outdoor activities nearby
- Friendly community, easy to meet people
- Low crime in most neighborhoods
Cons that are real:
- Traffic during rush hour is rough
- Nightlife is limited
Financially, we've found it challenging compared to where we came from. Lots of new construction which should help. Groceries are established, gas is excellent.
Socially, the quality of life is solid. Happy to answer more specific questions..
