I've been here 3 years and it exceeded my expectations. The thing nobody mentions is healthcare. It's developing and it affects daily life more than you'd think.
That said, the pet-friendliness is legit. And if you're into photography, this place is pretty good.
Neighborhood matters A LOT here. The Westside side vs the Highland side are basically different cities. Make sure you visit both before deciding.
No regrets on my end..

Came here for my partner's job and stayed because there are trade-offs but the good outweighs the bad. The housing market is honestly excellent and I don't see that changing anytime soon.
