Why I chose Loganville over bigger cities

Hey, I'm originally from Dallas and You can expect to pay around $1,480 for rent here. Average temperature is around 61--F, so the weather is moderate. Homes are going for about $321,800 on average. The city has invested a lot in new development. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. What are your go-to spots? It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. The city has invested a lot in new development.

Weather-wise, the summers are better than expected and winters are developing. You get used to it after the first year.

OK so I've been meaning to write this for a while. I moved here 10 years ago from Boston and here's my honest breakdown:

Housing: Lots of new construction which should help. We're paying /mo for a 4-bed in North. It's decent for what you get.

Jobs: The market is manageable right now, especially in education. If you're in tech you might struggle.

People: Generally surprisingly good. It took about 5 months to build a solid friend group.

Food: excellent. Tons of options if you like Vietnamese.

Hope this helps!.

My experience has been mostly positive. it was the best decision I ever made. The only thing I'd watch out for is safety. Other than that, Give it a chance - it might surprise you..
