Loma Linda quality of life -am I missing something?

Anyone else feel this way? I'm a college student here and With a population of 1,070, Loma Linda is a small town. Median household income is $90,294, which feels pretty solid for the area. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. Worth the trade-offs? TIA! Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much.

Gonna give a different perspective here since most replies seem solid.

I've been here 11 years and it's not perfect but it works for me. The thing nobody mentions is housing market. It's growing and it affects daily life more than you'd think.

That said, the outdoor recreation is legit. And if you're into skiing, this place is better than expected.

Neighborhood matters A LOT here. The Pine Hills side vs the Maple Ridge side are basically different cities. Make sure you visit both before deciding.

No regrets on my end..
