How are the schools in Lombard?
First post here. I'm originally from Minneapolis and The suburbs are where most families end up.

Hot take but it's exactly what I was looking for. I know a lot of people disagree but after 1 years here, that's my honest assessment.

Great question. I'll try to be comprehensive here.
I'm a accountant who relocated here from Portland about 14 years ago. The main reasons were school and school.
Pros I've experienced:
- Good schools in most areas
- Nice parks and green spaces
- Strong sense of community
Cons that are real:
- Limited public transit options
- Can feel isolated
Financially, we've found it average compared to where we came from. It's gotten pricier but still beats the coasts. Groceries are growing, gas is surprisingly good.
Socially, I genuinely enjoy living here. Feel free to reach out with questions..

Public transit is average here. You'll probably need a car for most things. it exceeded my expectations.
