Working in Lombard -salaries realistic?

First post here. I'm a remote worker and It's a a smaller city city with about 43,722 people. With a population of 43,722, Lombard is a smaller city. The median home value here is around $321,200, which seems about average. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. It's not perfect, but the community is solid.

Great question. I'll try to be comprehensive here.

I'm a chef who relocated here from Pittsburgh about 5 years ago. The main reasons were a fresh start and a job opportunity.

Pros I've experienced:
- Great outdoor activities nearby
- Active local events and festivals
- Diverse dining options

Cons that are real:
- Limited public transit options
- Limited entertainment options

Financially, we've found it average compared to where we came from. Older homes are where the value is. Groceries are manageable, gas is tough.

Socially, the quality of life is solid. Happy to answer more specific questions..

Depends on what you're looking for honestly. If you want community vibe, then yeah this place is great. But if housing market matters to you, might want to look elsewhere.

I'm a social worker and I've found I wouldn't want to live anywhere else right now. The community is surprisingly good and there's always something going on.
