So, I'm a college student here and Poverty rate is 6.0%, which is pretty low. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. The suburbs are where most families end up. Does this match your experience? I'd say it's better for families than young singles. Property taxes are high but you get good services.

I've lived in Fairview for about 9 years now, so I can give you a pretty detailed perspective.
I have mixed feelings honestly. When I first moved here from Tampa, I was surprised by school system. It took some adjustment but now I wouldn't trade it.
A few things worth knowing:
- Nice parks and green spaces
- Four distinct seasons
- The cultural scene scene is decent
The downsides:
- Nightlife is limited
- Property taxes are high
Overall I'd rate it 6/10 for families. Hope this helps!.

Moved here from Pittsburgh about 10 years ago. I wouldn't want to live anywhere else right now. Still getting used to pet-friendliness but Feel free to reach out with questions..

Alright, I'll give you the full rundown since I see a lot of surface-level answers here.
I've been in Greenfield for 9 years. Moved from Pittsburgh for a job opportunity. Here's my honest, detailed take:
**Housing:**
The market right now is improving. We bought in 2019 at k and it's now worth up a bit than that. If you're renting, expect /mo for a decent 1-bed in a safe area. Buying is tough right now, renting is more reasonable.
**Employment:**
hospitality is strong here. legal is hit or miss. If you're remote, you'll love the cost of living. Average salaries are reasonable for the area.
**Quality of Life:**
the quality of life is solid. The outdoor scene is underrated - we have desert landscapes within easy driving distance. Dining has gotten so much better in the past few years.
**Schools (if relevant):**
Varies hugely by district. Greenfield schools are excellent. If you have kids, this should be your number one factor in choosing a neighborhood.
**The Bad:**
I'd be lying if I said everything is great. Can feel isolated. Limited shopping options. And healthcare can be frustrating.
**Bottom line:**
For remote workers, I'd say this is a 6/10. Your mileage may vary depending on what you're looking for.. Feel free to ask specific questions - happy to help.

Renting here right now, paying about /mo for a 3-bedroom. I have mixed feelings honestly. Compared to Austin it's surprisingly good.
