Not sure if this has been asked before, but I'm retired and Median household income is $70,038, which feels about average for the area. The suburbs are where most families end up. The food scene here is surprisingly good. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. Property taxes are high but you get good services.
