Hey, Crime rate is something to consider -London sits at 321.5 per 100K. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. Any advice would be great. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level.

Bought a house here in 2019 and it's not perfect but it works for me. Property values have gone up a bit since then.

OK so I've been meaning to write this for a while. I moved here 15 years ago from Miami and here's my honest breakdown:
Housing: The market is competitive but not impossible. We're paying /mo for a 2-bed in Old Town. It's hit or miss for what you get.
Jobs: The market is affordable right now, especially in consulting. If you're in tech you might struggle.
People: Generally challenging. It took about 10 months to build a solid friend group.
Food: pretty good. Tons of options if you like Mediterranean.
