Life in Long Beach as a young professional

Moved here 9 years ago for work. Long Beach has a solid community for young professionals. Income levels are solid here — median is around $83,969. Rent runs about $1,803/month for a typical apartment. The social scene is better than I expected. Would I recommend it? For the right person, definitely..

Coming from Phoenix, the cost of living difference is noticeable. Groceries and gas are slightly more expensive but housing makes up for it.
