Studio apartments in Long Beach -options?

Hey everyone, You can expect to pay around $2,377 for rent here. Poverty rate is 4.3%, which is pretty low. Crime rate is something to consider -Long Beach sits at 56.6 per 100K. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. I'd say it's better for families than young singles.

Pros:
- Diverse community
- Low taxes
- Strong sense of community
- Plenty of shopping options

Cons:
- Limited nightlife
- Sprawl everywhere
- Few job opportunities in some fields
- Far from major airports
- Homelessness issues downtown
Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. The suburbs are where most families end up. The city has invested a lot in new development. Property taxes are high but you get good services. Depends on what you're looking for honestly. If you want cost of living, then yeah this place is great. But if job market matters to you, might want to look elsewhere.
