Curious what people think. I'm a teacher here and The unemployment rate is 4.8%, which is about average. Average temperature is around 54--F, so expect cold winters. Rent is about $1,744/month for a decent place. Household incomes average around $73,381 in Long Branch. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. Property taxes are high but you get good services. Am I wrong here? The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. The suburbs are where most families end up. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods.

My experience has been mostly positive. it exceeded my expectations. The only thing I'd watch out for is weather. Other than that, Definitely worth checking out..

Public transit is improving here. You'll probably need a car for most things. it's not perfect but it works for me.

I've been living here for 13 years and I'd say I wouldn't want to live anywhere else right now. The job market is excellent compared to other places I've lived. Overall It's not for everyone but it works for us..
