Is Long Branch walkable?

Hello, I relocated for work and Household incomes average around $73,381 in Long Branch. Average temperature is around 54--F, so expect cold winters. With a population of 32,184, Long Branch is a smaller city. Homes are going for about $519,000 on average. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. Property taxes are high but you get good services. Cheers. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. Property taxes are high but you get good services. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look.

I've lived in Oak Park for about 2 years now, so I can give you a pretty detailed perspective.

it's improved dramatically in recent years. When I first moved here from Tampa, I was surprised by safety. It took some adjustment but now I wouldn't trade it.

A few things worth knowing:
- Great outdoor activities nearby
- Low crime in most neighborhoods
- The healthcare scene is excellent

The downsides:
- Limited high-paying job options
- Far from beaches/mountains

Overall I'd rate it 7/10 for singles. Hope this helps!.

If you're remote, this place is great for cost of living. it's not perfect but it works for me. Internet is hit or miss in most areas.
