Grocery stores in Longmont -recommendations?
Poverty rate is 5.2%, which is pretty low. Rent is about $1,755/month for a decent place. The unemployment rate is 3.0%, which is pretty low. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. Property taxes are high but you get good services. The food scene here is surprisingly good. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. Property taxes are high but you get good services. The suburbs are where most families end up. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. I'd say it's better for families than young singles.
