Longmont housing prices -when will it stop?

I grew up here but left for a while. Poverty rate is 5.2%, which is pretty low. It's a a smaller city city with about 98,958 people. The median home value here is around $541,400, which is pretty steep. Median household income is $89,724, which feels pretty solid for the area. Household incomes average around $89,724 in Longmont. Property taxes are high but you get good services. The weather takes some getting used to. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse.

Pros:
- Nice parks and trails
- Diverse community
- Low taxes
- Lots of new development

Cons:
- Rising rent prices
- Sprawl everywhere
- Mosquitoes and humidity
Is this normal for Longmont? Cheers. The food scene here is surprisingly good. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. The food scene here is surprisingly good. Public transit is excellent here. You'll probably need a car for most things. there are trade-offs but the good outweighs the bad.
