Rent prices in Longview getting crazy

Anyone else noticing rent going up fast in Longview? Over the last year, I feel like prices went up at least 10-15%. I'm paying $1061 for a 3BR which feels okay for the area.

Are there any neighborhoods that are still affordable? Thinking about moving to a cheaper area.

Rent tip: look for places in January-February. Prices drop and there's more availability.

Traffic is the worst part honestly. But if you live near work it's fine.

I work in government and finding a job wasn't hard. Took about 1 months.

As someone who moved here from New York, I can confirm most of this. The weather surprised me the most.

Public transit needs work but they're investing in it. Should improve in next few years.

Check out the Westside area. Way more affordable and still close to everything.
