Best areas to explore in Lorain?

First post here. Just moved here 1 months ago and The unemployment rate is 4.0%, which is pretty low. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. Any advice would be great.

OK so I've been meaning to write this for a while. I moved here 4 years ago from New York and here's my honest breakdown:

Housing: Older homes are where the value is. We're paying /mo for a 3-bed in Sunset. It's tough for what you get.

Jobs: The market is competitive right now, especially in engineering. If you're in construction you might struggle.

People: Generally underrated. It took about 13 months to build a solid friend group.

Food: challenging. Tons of options if you like Mexican.
