Been meaning to ask this. My family moved here when I was a kid. Household incomes average around $45,799 in Lorain. The unemployment rate is 4.0%, which is pretty low. The suburbs are where most families end up. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. What are your go-to spots? The food scene here is surprisingly good. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus.
