Dog-friendly places in Los Alamos?

Longtime lurker here, I relocated for work and It's a a small town city with about 13,471 people. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. Appreciate any input. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much.

Great question. I'll try to be comprehensive here.

I'm a electrician who relocated here from Nashville about 4 years ago. The main reasons were my partner's job and work.

Pros I've experienced:
- Great outdoor activities nearby
- Low crime in most neighborhoods
- Good airport with direct flights

Cons that are real:
- Not a lot of cultural diversity
- Dating scene is rough

Financially, we've found it pretty good compared to where we came from. The market is competitive but not impossible. Groceries are reasonable, gas is tough.

Socially, it exceeded my expectations. Give it a chance - it might surprise you..

Came here for school and stayed because it's exactly what I was looking for. The traffic is honestly better than expected and I don't see that changing anytime soon.
