Most overrated things about Los Angeles

Just moved here 2 months ago and It's a a major city city with about 3.9M people. Average temperature is around 60°F, so the weather is moderate. Median household income is $80,366, which feels pretty solid for the area. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. The suburbs are where most families end up. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. The suburbs are where most families end up. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. Property taxes are high but you get good services. The food scene here is surprisingly good. The suburbs are where most families end up.

I'd say the biggest thing people don't talk about is walkability. it's been a really good experience overall. Worth doing your research before committing.
