Hello, I work in consulting and Rent is about $1,515/month for a decent place. You can expect to pay around $1,515 for rent here. With a population of 46,776, Los Banos is a smaller city. Average temperature is around 63--F, so the weather is moderate. The suburbs are where most families end up. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. Should I be concerned? Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. The city has invested a lot in new development. The weather takes some getting used to. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. Property taxes are high but you get good services. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. The weather takes some getting used to.
