Pros and cons of Los Banos after 1 years

Been meaning to ask this. You can expect to pay around $1,515 for rent here. Household incomes average around $70,893 in Los Banos. Homes are going for about $419,600 on average. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. The food scene here is surprisingly good. What are your go-to spots? Appreciate any input. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. The weather takes some getting used to. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. It's not perfect, but the community is solid.

Gonna give a different perspective here since most replies seem hit or miss.

I've been here 1 years and it's not perfect but it works for me. The thing nobody mentions is food scene. It's established and it affects daily life more than you'd think.

That said, the safety is legit. And if you're into rock climbing, this place is excellent.

Neighborhood matters A LOT here. The Sunset side vs the Lakewood side are basically different cities. Make sure you visit both before deciding.

No regrets on my end..
