How is Los Gatos for outdoor activities?

Alright, Poverty rate is 2.8%, which is pretty low. Crime rate is something to consider -Los Gatos sits at 45.5 per 100K. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. What neighborhoods would you suggest?

Great question. I'll try to be comprehensive here.

I'm a electrician who relocated here from Chicago about 5 years ago. The main reasons were school and weather.

Pros I've experienced:
- Good healthcare facilities
- Decent public transit for the size
- Affordable housing options

Cons that are real:
- Limited public transit options
- Not a lot of cultural diversity

Financially, we've found it improving compared to where we came from. If you look outside the main areas you can find deals. Groceries are established, gas is surprisingly good.

Socially, it was the best decision I ever made. Your mileage may vary depending on what you're looking for..

The food scene here is surprisingly good. Tons of great Korean places. it's improved dramatically in recent years.

Came here for retirement and stayed because it was the best decision I ever made. The cultural scene is honestly excellent and I don't see that changing anytime soon.
