Is public transit usable in Los Osos?

Not sure if this has been asked before, but Just moved here 8 months ago and With a population of 15,048, Los Osos is a small town. Homes are going for about $728,000 on average. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. Worth the trade-offs? Any help is appreciated.

My experience has been mostly positive. it was the best decision I ever made. The only thing I'd watch out for is housing market. Other than that, Happy to answer more specific questions..

I work in education here and it's exactly what I was looking for. The job market for my field is surprisingly good. Hope this helps!.

Real talk - this place is not for everyone, and I think that's OK.

If you value pet-friendliness, you'll love it. The cost of living is genuinely better than expected and I've found I love the pace of life here. My neighborhood (North) is competitive and I feel safe walking around at night.

But if you're coming from Tampa, be prepared for the culture shock. nightlife is completely different here. And Not a lot of cultural diversity.

My advice would be to visit for at least a week before committing. Rent first, don't buy. And explore multiple neighborhoods - they're all different.
