Loudonville job market vs Albuquerque

Hey everyone, My family moved here when I was a kid. Crime rate is something to consider -Loudonville sits at 813.4 per 100K. With a population of 10,274, Loudonville is a small town. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. Property taxes are high but you get good services. Any advice would be great.

From a safety perspective, it really depends on the area. Some neighborhoods are solid, others not so much. Do your research on specific streets.

Hot take but it's been a really good experience overall. I know a lot of people disagree but after 2 years here, that's my honest assessment.

Bought a house here in 2016 and there are trade-offs but the good outweighs the bad. Property values have gone down slightly since then.

As someone who grew up here, I wouldn't want to live anywhere else right now. A lot has changed in the past few years though. healthcare used to be much reasonable but now it's average.
